I was in San Francisco in July 2016. I was there for one day when I ran into Gavin Newsom. He was sitting at the table next to ours. We had a debate as to whether or not it was really him. I didn't believe he was at first - but it was him. I snapped a photo of him sitting at a sidewalk table, enjoying a cocktail, at the Balboa Cafe.
